#28 Sadie
Adopted!
We drove to Iowa to place her in the most perfect home with her Daddy, a farmer. She is a lucky girl. I love getting the updates and seeing how happy she is. She deserves it. Rescued from Chicago Animal Care and Control in the fall of 2013.
High energy girl! Sadie is very good with other dogs, potty trained, and a lively & outgoing girl. She can be nippy with those who come up quickly to her (never has with me) and needs a calm home environment. Needs home with No Young Kids! She loves running, tug of war with rope toys & is very loving.

#26 Kaya (n/k/a Martini)
Martini's mom owns a doggie salon. Good thing she is very loved!
#25 Little Man Gomez
Thank you to Ian and family for adopting little man!
#24 Rocky (n/k/a Chico)
Rocky - now Chico, was adopted by Sita's very own Mom, Cheryl! It was unexpected, and circumstances were just right, so off he went to Cortland, IL to live with my mom and her husband Joe, all by himself, with a fenced in yard and custom made dinners each night of steak, turkey, or chicken, cooked by my mom. Lucky little man! His wrist was broken and never fixed by his previous owner, and now he has an arm that sticks out strange. It doesnt hurt him and it would have to be rebroken to be fixed, so we will leave it alone and let him be different.
Because different is good! Congrats on your new Mom and Dad little buddy!

#23 Phoebe
Thank you to the Bricknell Family for adopting this sweet girl from a shelter that closed it doors in Missouri. She's a lucky girl!
#22 Bo
Adopted by my great friend Ann. Bo, also known as "Little Doggie" or dogdog, is a happy boy. He loves his mom and dad. And thats about it!
#21 Cha Cha the senior chihuahua from Aurora Animal Control - Adopted June 2013
Found sitting in someone's front yard in Aurora, she was brought to Aurora Animal Control. She was about 2 lbs. Smallest little lady ever. She went from the east side of Aurora, to living in Campton Hills with her new mom and dad, the best parents she ever had. She was so lucky to have them! Cha Cha passed away over Labor Day this year, and my heart aches for her and her family. They had her only a short time, but she had more love and happiness in those months then probably in her whole life.
Rest in Peace sweet angel. Love, Sita xoxo (More Cha Cha below)

Max #20 the 2 year old male Chihuahua from Chicago Animal Control. Adopted May 2013
Given up by his owners... same old story. Too big of a hassle to have him and his brother Bo (see below). I drove to Chicago Animal Control, on Easter Sunday, to save them from euthanasia. They were set to be killed that day. Sweet little boys. Max is more energenic and outgoing, while his brother Bo is much more reserved and wants to just sit on your lap. These dogs are in foster care in a loving home, and waiting to be adopted. They are scheduled to be neutered at the end of April.

Butch & Ruthanne to the Rescue again!
This couple had a lot of their dogs die (from old age) this last year. I think they lost 3-4 of them. :( I am now helping them get over it by filling their empty home with love!

Pebbles #17 - Adopted out on 10-22-12
This was an owner give up. Its a great story. A lady who is a bartender knew that Pebbeles family was losing their home and she made it her mission to find a home for the dog. She contacted me, I found this wonderful couple (who I knew loved Yorkies) and within 2 days, she had a new happy home in Bristol, IL. Thanks to Butch and Ruthanne. This little Pebbles was handed over thoughtlessly by the woman to the bartender with no paperwork, wouldnt tell what sort of food she ate, nothing. Now into a home with full time love and getting to sleep in bed with her new mom and dad. Happy tail! LOVE!
Pearl (n/k/a Rosita) #16 - Adopted out 10-18-12
Here is Rosita with her new brother, Pedro. She was successfully adopted out to a wonderful family who is very dear to me. They will be moving to Texas this month so little Rosie will be in sunshine mostly year round.
UPDATE: PEARL WAS RETURNED FOR BARKING AND BEHAVIOR ISSUES. WE ARE WORKING ON THEM.
2nd UPDATE: PEARL HAD 4 TEETH REMOVED, AND THEN HAD A BAD REACTION TO THE ANESTHESIA WHERE SHE WAS NOT ABLE TO KEEP FOOD DOWN. WITH MONTHS OF MANY VET VISITS AND MEDICINES, SHE IS BACK TO NORMAL SIZE. SHE WAS DANGEROUSLY SKINNY BUT IS ABLE TO KEEP FOOD DOWN. THANK GOODNESS!

Miller #15 - Chocolate Lab
Again, while I focus on small dogs, I will adopt out at every opportunity. Miller is a SWEET boy from southern IL. This dog is exactly what this family needed, after the loss of their last pet, Pal. Miller was on PetFinder from "Pal's Place Rescue" If that's not meant to be, I don't know what is!
Congrats to his new family in Montgomery. LOVE

While we focus on small dogs, if we can do it, we will. Here are Butters and Matthew (n/k/a Spike). Thanks to my co-worker, these 2 cats are safe and in a loving home in the country. I appreciate her soft spot for kitties and love that she adopted these guys. Good luck you 2! (May 18, 2012)
